After a somewhat staggered start to the year, I’ve finally been able to sit down and finish this article which I initially drafted after my end of year podcast episode, but prior to my New Year celebrations. In case the title didn’t give it away, here’s a list of my favourite games from 2011. Most will come as no surprise, though there were some games I couldn’t include, despite enjoying immensely for the first time last year (Persona 3 most notably). It’s the dawn of a new year, and as is customary for bloggers to do at this time of reflection and contemplation, I’ve compiled a list of all the new films I saw in 2011 and then brutally chopped it down to my favourite five. There were some harsh cuts, especially as I managed to see 39 cinematic releases this year (yes I know that’s not a lot, especially compared to some folk), but I’ve done it and here now, for your reading pleasure is an alphabetised list of my 5 favourite films from 2011. ‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. That’s because I am writing this on a laptop, which has a neat little touchpad which obviously makes no noise at all. Ho ho ho.
I’m officially on my hols now and back in my home town of Morecambe. I’d been pretty damn ill with some serious manflu the week before, hence me forgetting to update the blog.
